Description of the property:

Building # 42

            Building #42 is a one –story steel frame and masonry structure erected in 1960.  The building is basically rectangular in shape and contains 29,225 square feet gross floor area.  The floors are concrete with sealer.  The walls are concrete block curtain walls with steel sash windows.  The front, and parts of the sidewalls are faced with brick.  The ceilings are open steel frame with bar joist, and insulated.  The roof is metal deck with built-up tar and gravel cover.  The steel beam roof support columns are spaced at 25-foot intervals along the length and width of the building.  The internal clearance is 15 feet, more or less.  There is an office/restroom area in the front of the building comprising 3,324 square feet.  The office area floors are carpet over concrete; the walls are wood, and ceilings are acoustical tile.  There is an enclosed truck well and dock area comprising 1,100 square feet.  The truck well walls are concrete, and the floor is bituminous asphalt.  There is one dock leveler unit.  The ceiling in the truck well is steel bar joist, supporting a wood deck roof with built-up cover.  Access to the internal truck well is through (2) 8 x 10 foot wood section overhead door.  Access to the street is through a 14 x 22 foot metal section overhead door.  There are also (2) 10 x 10 foot wood section overhead doors on the east wall of the building, and (1) 10 x 10 foot wood section overhead door on the north wall.  There are (2) steel enclosed walkways to adjacent Building #43.  There are (4) metal clad pedestrian doors.  The entire building is sprinklered with a dry type system.
