Description
of the property: Building # 33-H Building #33-H, located at 170 Angell Street, Battle Creek, Michigan, is a one-story masonry and steel frame warehouse building, built in 1933. The mill-type construction is similar to Building #33 with two side bays and a central bay with roof monitor. The building measures 104 x 323 feet, and contains 33,592 square feet of gross floor area. The floor is poured concrete with sealer. The walls are masonry with fiberglass sidelights in the end walls. The ceiling is open steel truss construction with fiberglass sidelights in the central monitor. The steel roof column supports are spaced at 20-foot intervals along the length and at 48-foot intervals across the width of the building. The roof is concrete panel with built-up tar and gravel cover. The lower gambrels are covered with corrugated metal. The two side bays have 18 feet of clearance, with the center portion at 24-foot clearance. There is a 160-foot crane-way in the warehouse. There is a two-story masonry office and restroom structure in the front end of the warehouse, which covers 1,059 square feet of floor area. There is a masonry external office structure on the front corner of the warehouse measuring 15 x 40 feet. Access to the warehouse is through a 14 x 16 foot wood section overhead door with opener. Also, there is a wood pedestrian door. There is a 12 x 20 foot concrete loading dock on the south side of the warehouse, covered by a wood and metal lean-to type of roof measuring 16 x 31 feet. Access to the dock is through a 10 x 10 foot metal overhead door. For purposes of description, the various segments of the improvements are separated as follows:
