Description
of the property: Building # 33 Building #33 is a masonry and steel frame warehouse building, built in1930. The building measures 122 x 344 feet, and contains 41,968 square feet of gross floor area. The warehouse, of mill type design, has two side bays measuring 29 and 30 feet in width with 24 feet of clearance. The central bay is 63 feet in width with a 30-foot clearance. The floor is poured concrete with sealer. The walls are masonry with fiberglass sidelights in the end walls. There is a mechanical pent-house atop the south end of the building. The ceiling is open steel truss with steel column supports spaced at 20-foot intervals along the length of the building, and 58 feet apart width wise. The roof is concrete slabs with built-up tar and gravel cover. There is a crane way 16 feet high and 303 feet in length. There is a concrete loading dock on the rear of the building. The dock is irregular in shape and covers 3, 553 square feet. The dock is covered by a metal lean to type cover measuring 13.5 x 60 feet. Access to the dock is through (2) 12 x 12 foot wood section overhead doors, and (1) 9 x 9 foot metal section overhead door. Also, there are two metal clad pedestrian doors. There is wood enclosed office and restroom area in the rear of the warehouse covering 1,275 square feet.
